What is Little Bead Shop?
Little Bead Shop is a fun webshop with all kinds of items To make your own jewelry . Think of jewelry-making supplies, charms for bracelets, ribbons for ribbon bracelets, and of course... beads! In all shapes, colors, and sizes. We're also selling more and more bead boxes, gift bags, and stickers. This way, if you sell your own handmade jewelry, you can gift-wrap it and give it to your customer. Most customers love that! We always wrap our orders cheerfully, so it's a real treat to unwrap your order! Oh, and you always get a little gift with your order, like a bag of extra beads. This way you can try different beads or maybe discover one you haven't seen in our webshop yet! Who knows. :)
The beads at Little Bead Shop are largely checked for damage When packing orders. You don't want a broken or damaged bead in your jewelry, of course! Often, there are a few more beads to allow for extra space. That way, if we've overlooked a broken bead, you'll still have plenty of good beads! These days, most beads go through our weighing machine. This allows us to process many more beads in a row! This saves us a tremendous amount of time. And the machine makes far fewer mistakes than we do, so the bead count is always accurate. :)
Photos of products
The photos in our webshop are all taken by ourselves. We use a daylight lamp and a good camera to ensure perfect photos. This way, we can be sure that the article is clearly shown in the photo With the right color. That's great! Sometimes, we can't quite capture the right color in the photo. In that case, we use a photo from the wholesaler and include it in the description. That way, you always know what to expect as a customer! We also try to include all the product specifications in the description. Think of the thickness, the size of the threading holes, the material, and the quantity.
We try to add new items to the webshop every week. And we always try to stock the trendiest colors. Suggestions? Let us know via info@littlebeadshop.nl . We like it!
Who owns Little Bead Shop?
Well, that's me! Hi! I'm Rianne Horst-Dijkstra, I'm 26 years old, and I lived in beautiful Zwolle with my husband for about seven years. Then, in 2022, we moved to charming Kampen. Our daughter was born in January 2023, and now we have a beautiful family! We have the entire attic at our disposal for the webshop. That means we have four times as much space as in our old house in Zwolle, so we could really expand our range! I'm now more often found here than in the living room, haha.
I love making jewelry (surprisingly, right?), playing computer games, journaling, reading, crafting, rollerblading, and I LOVE sushi, pasta, and coffee. I work three full days in the webshop anyway. The other two days, I also take care of my daughter, so the webshop work is a bit lighter. But I'm also often in the webshop on weekends. I love animals, but oddly enough, I don't have any pets at the moment. I did have two guinea pigs and would really like a cat. Maybe one day, when I'm older. ;)
I have been making jewelry since I was a child and always went to all kinds of things with my mother hobby fairs to buy the nicest beads . My mother also bought all kinds of beads online, which she then let me buy with my pocket money. So I actually had a A mini shop at home ! And that was fantastic. Short on beads? No problem, just pop over to my mom's to buy some! That inspired me, among other things, to start my own bead (online) shop.
I want to share this wonderful hobby with as many people as possible. That's another reason why I started this webshop in 2016. Making jewelry is amazing, wonderfully relaxing, and it's incredibly creative . Oh yeah, and you can use endless color combinations, so almost no piece is the same! Isn't that fantastic? Besides, I love colors, so an online store selling colorful beads is perfect for that!

Hobby fairs
We absolutely love exhibiting at craft fairs. For now, we're only exhibiting at the Crea-Weekend in Hardenberg because it's easiest for us in terms of transportation and planning. After a fair, we can just go home. But we hope to exhibit at KreaDoe in Utrecht sometime in the future! It's much more centrally located for you! Unfortunately, it's not cost-effective yet, and since KreaDoe lasts five days, it's a bit too long for us. Sometimes we also attend a small fair or market that only lasts one day, for example. Keep an eye on our social media for fair and market news!
